Cozy living area: The living area at Base Surf Lodge provided a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a freshly pressed coffee, as if I were in my own little cafe.
Women's shower room maintenance: The only minor inconvenience was the need for topping up hand soap and changing the hand towel more frequently in the women's shower room, as it had an unpleasant smell during my stay.

We stayed at a surf lodge in a convenient location, with bars and Fistral beach just a short walk away. the room was basic but clean, with a comfortable bed. the bathroom was modern and spotless, with powerful hot showers. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering tips even if you weren't taking a surf lesson. the lodge also provided breakfast and had a garden for dining on sunny days. it was a great place to stay for a surf weekend.
Limited cooking facilities were a downside, and parking was off-site and required some searching for a free spot.

The breakfast spread each morning was delicious, with a great variety of pastries, cereals, and juices. the friendly staff were always available to offer helpful tips and recommendations for things to do in the area. We also loved the convenience of being able to hire surfboards and wetsuits at a reduced price, with no time restrictions. The location was perfect - close to the high street and beaches, yet peaceful and relaxing. Cons: Can't fault anything about our stay. 👌.

The owner and staff were extremely helpful, providing me with great tips and recommendations for things to do during my stay. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with close proximity to the surf spots and the town, making it convenient to access everything we needed. We also appreciated the option to hire surf equipment at the lodge, which made it easy for us to enjoy the waves without any hassle.
Although the shared bathroom was modern and cleaned daily, we did notice that the women's shower room was in need of some attention, with the hand soap and hand towel needing replenishment. It was a minor inconvenience, but it would have been nicer if these amenities were well-stocked throughout our stay.

The hosts were amazing! They were friendly, welcoming, and always available for a chat or to give advice. The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from the town centre and the beach. It was perfect for exploring the area. Another great aspect was the vegan/veggie cafe nearby. It made finding good food very convenient.
The noise at night was quite disruptive. With it being Christmas time, there were a lot of parties happening in the area, which meant loud music and rowdy behavior.

Great value for money with comfortable beds and lovely hot showers. The location was fantastic, close to the high street and beaches, yet peaceful and relaxing. The staff at Base Surf Lodge were super friendly and always available to offer helpful tips and advice during our stay.
The breakfast experience could be improved by ensuring the hand soap is topped up and the hand towel is changed regularly as there was a persistent odor throughout our stay.
